Our charter as the Clean Energy/Climate Smart committee is to create and amplify inspirational and educational spaces that demonstrate clean energy. We intend to be the early adopter in the community and/or find early adaptors to clean energy in our community. Once we are able to create or find examples of clean energy working in our community, we will promote those examples to the wider community. It is our intention to demonstrate new technologies/energy approaches to our region, while educating consumers on alternative energy options that they can invest in. It is our intention to decrease barriers to adoption of new clean energy technologies including education, cost, access to the technology, installation of technology.
